City of Holts Summit Christmas Parade

The Holts Summit Christmas Parade this year is scheduled for Saturday, December 9th at 2:00 pm.   This year a long list of suggested themes have been published for each entry to choose from.  We expect this year’s parade to be bigger than ever as in the past it has grown each year.  McMichael Realty has chosen "A Charlie Brown Christmas" as their theme, so don’t be surprised to see at least one very ugly Christmas tree on the floats as they pass by.

If this is your first viewing of the Holts Summit Christmas, you are sure to be in for a surprise as the parade passes by.  In addition to the usual floats, being pulled by everything from huge farm tractors to tiny lawn tractors or lively horses.  Speaking of horses, we usually have many horses and riders of all ages, displaying their skills at handling spirited mounts.  We also expect marching bands from areas surrounding Jefferson City and Holts Summit, such as Jays, Blair Oaks, Helias and New Bloomfield.  In addition to all of this, we expect lots of candy and presents to be handed out by various floats.  Make sure to make a lot of noise as McMichael Realty passes because we are in the process of wrapping 100 plus presents for the kids along the parade route.  You can use our McMichael Realty parking lot until it fills up.  Come early!
