New Bloomfield is a place where everyone knows you and where everyone cares about you.  New Bloomfield is a commuter town where a majority of the residents work in Columbia, MO; Fulton, MO or Jefferson City, MO.  It is rich in history with the New Bloomfield Area Historical Society actively preserving its’ rich culture and traditions.  There are 669 residents making up the small town feel of New Bloomfield and it is a part of the Jefferson City Metropolitan Area.

Central Bank is in the middle of town along with a new Dollar General Store.  Just down the road is the New Bloomfield R-III School with both elementary and high schools.  As in most small towns, they are proud of their sport’s programs and everyone comes out for sporting events.

If you are coming to visit for the day or just passing through, the town park offers a place where you can have a picnic and let the kids play on expansive playground equipment.  Home cookin’ can be found at the scrumptious Fatbelly Cafe’ across from the gas station on Old Highway 54.  You will feel right at home when they treat you like family!

This town has a big hidden treat with the addition of the Meadow Lake Acres Country Club being one of the major attractions bringing the Jefferson City residents to the suburbs.  Just a 10 minute country drive across the MO River Bridge into Callaway County where the award winning golf course greets you.  This elegant destination has a Pro Shop, gourmet restaurant, banquet facilities and pool.  While the golfers are enjoying the greens, the other half of the family can enjoy the expansive new pool added in the Summer of 2017.

New Bloomfield would be a wonderful place to buy property for hunting or farming.  It would also be a warm-hearted little town to settle down in and enjoy the close community.  Many new homes are being constructed along the outer ends of town along with a nice supply of already existing homes.  Let us know if we can tell you more about this town or if you would like to see any property here.
