For a cultural experience, the Finke Theatre offers a variety of entertainment from September thru June. Nearby, located west of Jamestown near Prairie Home, is the Prairie Home Wildlife Area. It is a 1,455-acre wildlife areas managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation for multiple use. Hunting and fishing are the primary uses. Other activities may include mushroom hunting, nature study, hiking, primitive camping, and horseback riding on a designated trail.
